The Eden Project

Has examples of natural plants from around the world inside. It has the largest rainforest in captivity. They created an eco system that is alive just by itself. This would be a good example how to bring nature inside buildings.

Seed bombing

According to wikipedia, the earliest records of aerial reforestation date back from 1930. In this period, planes were used to distribute seeds over certain inaccessible mountains in Honolulu after forest fires.

Parks in car parking spots

Nice little parks in parking spots. It does look lovely and it is quite inventive but I am not persuaded by their functionality as cars ar still passing by so you can't get out of city rush and relax. Besides, those parks are taking up the precious parking space.

NYC High Line

It is a park built on former train line. It is a nice getaway from the city rush. What I like the most about this project is that the park is placed on second floor and does not interfiere with normal everyday activities such as traveling, parking cars, walking, food shopping, working. This links very closely to what I want to design for my FMP. It is a bit of nature put in the city in smart innovative way.

Giovanni Anselmo

I find this object rather interesting as I see it as possible design. It could be a part of lamp post or trash bin or post box, which has a little shelf or a drawer that has plants inside. It would mean tiny gardens on common objets in the streets.
